Ruth Ive wanted these for quite a while and finally did but to my disappointment they are thin plastic (I thought at least for the price they would be lined steel) and don’t really hold in the hair at all. They just slip out. As they’re so flimsy, you don’t want to force anything in case they snap. Much better off with a traditional hair comb. Very disappointing for the price. Do not recommend.
